Portland landmark getting new life - Portland Press Herald

“The developers of a renovated apartment building at 645 Congress St. in Portland held a ‘grand opening’ Monday for city officials and community leaders.

“Built in 1895 as a hotel, the building also has served as a dormitory for the University of Southern Maine and Maine College of Art.
